Operation - Locking inside/outside:
- Lift handle, roller cams engage in strikers.
- Handle returns to the horizontal position.
- A single turn of the key deadlocks the latchbolt.
- Pressure on the handle downwards meets resistance as latchbolt and roller cams are blocked.
Operation - Unlocking inside/outside:
- A single turn of key unlocks the latchbolt.
- Press handle downwards to disengage latchbolt and rollers cams.
- Handle returns to horizontal position.
Additional information:
- 28mm backset - faceplate is stamped 5.28.
- 35mm backset - faceplate is stamped 6.35.
- Distance between rollers - 1399mm.
- Spindle - 7mm.
- Centres/PZ- 70mm.
- Handle/furniture to suit: lever/lever with 70mm centres and 7mm spindle.
- For handles try HOP70
- Latchbolt Keep: E11639.
- Roller Keeps: E11637.
- Latch Reversal, Insert a small bladed screwdriver into the small slot in the side of the case marked R/L, push upwards to release latch and turn it.
